Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is the Mexican American sportscaster. Her current role is an ESPN sportscaster. ESPN who is also an anchor of SportsCenter reports and hosts SportsNation. She joined ESPN in 2016. was a part of ESPN. She is the child of television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual from her age of nine. Her skills were instrumental in helping her land her first position as an assistant to the production team at Univision Miami and Univision Miami, where she assisted the production of programs including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Then she was promoted to an reporter at CBS St. Petersburg. CBS St. Petersburg affiliate following that. In 2009, she relocated in Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. The stories she wrote about covered immigration drugs, immigration, as well as other issues on both the Texas as well as the Mexico border. Her birth date was November 22nd the 22nd of November, 1984 in Mexico City. There is an older sister. In 1992 the family left Mexico for the US and settled in Miami. In 1992, her parents separated soon after. In 1995, she was remarried Fabio Fajardo, a naval engineer who died in 2006 from kidney cancer. In the summer of 2006, she took one week with her sibling in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was working at the time. Antonietta is a senior in high school and knew exactly what career path she wanted. When she was deciding whether Mount Union would be a good fit for her, Antonietta visited the campus. The result was that she was a fan of the campus and that the school offered the major she wanted. After completing her studies, she was accepted to the University for a master's degree studying media and communication studies. She developed a long-lasting relationship with her instructor Mark Bergmann who was the director for WRMU 91.1 FM of which she was a member. Her professor Mark Bergmann inspired her by his love of journalism. Additionally, he profoundly influenced her.
